  1. I have season 5 Sopranos 1st four episodes on a DVD-Ram.I would like to copy the DVD-Ram on to a DVD-R so I can free up my DVD-Ram disk.I have an LG GSA-4040B DVD burner that supports DVD-Ram.I burned one with nero but when I play it on 2 of my stand alone dvd players it comes up unsupported.I figured that would happen.I use Nero 6.3.1.10 Any help would be appreciated.

  2. I am assuming that since you are using a Ram disk you have a panasonic recorder. Try using TMPG DVD Author. You can try it out for 30 days. I use it to move my HBO shows (Deadwood, Etc.) to a DVD. It works great for me. I can put two episodes per disk at the sp recording level. The program lets you author the DVD also. Title, chapters, etc.

  3. I forgot to mention too that the program will let you author the DVD to a DVD-R. -r can be read by most all DVD players. I have the LG 4082B and like it very much for it's versatility (DVD -R-RW, +R+rw DVD-Ram). The program has it's own burning tool also so you will not need any other unless ou just particularly like to use a certain kind. Let me know how it rurns out.

  4. I copied the VRO file to a folder from the DVD-ram disk.I downloaded and installed TMPG DVD Author.I am not sure now how to use this program on how to convert the VRO file now so I can burn those files to DVD-R?.I been reading the help file with the program but can't make out how to go about this.I have a Panasonc DMR-E50,a Panasonic RP82 and a Philips DVD727 FOR Pal disks and region free stuff.

  6. Start program - click on create new project - Add DVD video - navigate the program to where your VRO file is - click on the file - program will copy to hard drive - edit video to your choosing - add more tracks if you want - edit same - create menu as you want - output file to hard drive - burn created DVD to DVD-R

  7. I have to select add file. When I select add dvd video nothings there.I am running out of virtual memory then it seems to hang there around 1:54 into it.

EDIT:I am starting to get somewhere here.I am reading of the dvd-ram instead of the vro I copied earlier to folder.I'll let you know how I make out.

  8. Thanks for all your help guys, especially saftrep.Everything worked out good copying to DVD-R and plays fine. Now I can finally erase and use my DVD-Ram disk again .I didn't realize it was that easy.I copied to hard drive straight from the DVD-Ram disk. When I tried using the VRO file already copied to hard drive the program would screw up.Thats a good program for DVD-Ram.Now to find a crack for it..LOL. Thanks again
