heres the deal: using my analog (ewwww...analog) camcoder, i recorded in "cinema" mode, which is esentially 16:9, but without the distortion that comes with it so that you can watch it on a 4:3 tv and people wont look super tall. my problem is...now that i have a 4:3 file that is letterboxed, do i just simply cut the top and bottom black bars off of it in tmpgenc and then convert it to mpeg2 for dvd?

  2. if it's already 16:9, set the output file to 16:9 display and set the video arrange method to center (custom size)
set the size to something like 640 x 360 or something to that affect.
