  1. Im using TMPGEnc to convert avi files to VCD format and sometimes when converted only some parts of the movie doesnt have sound... for like 5 min the sound mutes and comes back... when i try converting again sometimes it works and sometimes other parts of the movie dont have sound... any ideas whats happening?

    thank you.

(my personal opinion is that maybe it happens when i let it convert 3 or more at the same time and the computer gets messed up... but im just guessing...)

You could always do it by opening your AVI file in VirtualDub, save the WAV file, then convert it to MP2 with (insert any audio conversion tool here) and just mux it with the video stream TMPGEnc spits out. (ES)
