Ok the original 512x384
29 frames a sec
148 kbs data rate

i am trying to figure out the best quality i can put onto a dvd with 4 or 5 eps, i am trying to make it 352x480, i made a movie, with 4000kbs and the movie is great except for the movie pulsating when the camera moves on still objects. Like when no one moves or is talking, the camera moves across them and the local building it pulsates alittle.
Any help would be great
Thanks

Sounds like interlacing. That is the source is de-interlaced, and poorly. Does the original have this?
Did you encode it as interlaced or progressive? If interlaced, what field order did you use? You may have to reverse it.To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan
