    I'm a relative newbie and don't know much about the hardware. I've seen this advertised as playing divx files, and people on here seem to like it.
    I burn divx and xvid files as data disks using nero6.0. can I just put either the cdr or the dvd-r straight into this player and a menu pops up showing all the files on the disk and it plays them? I don't have to have done anything else?

    I am so impressed with it, I've ordered another.

    I have 6 high quality divx files per dvd, nice.
