Ok i posted a topic b4 asking which codec pack to use and some smart people said don't and install the ones u only need. GOOD ADVICE
I have uninstalled the codec pack now but there is one in paticular codec that i can't get rid of and Gspot is coming up with a message saying it is misconfigured the name that gspot give it is
DivX 3 Low-Motion
I want to remove it but can't. I use XP pro and gone to device manager and video codecs and and tried to remove the codec i don't installed but they won't go does anyone know way to tidy up all unwanted codecs

Maybe the Video Codec Swapper can help.
You can activate and deactivate codecs with it.

That looks like a pretty good tool, The_Doman. Thanks for sharing. I normally use DxMan for this kind of task but I think VCSwap has it beat.
That aside, you might want to hold onto the Divx Low Motion codec, keyser_soze. If you download a fair amount of avi's you're bound to need it sometime in the future.
