Hi!
I've just made 3 new coastrers from a 50 pack of memorex -r's which are prodiscS03 while burning video to them at X2 using nero... any1 knows if i'm doing sth wrong or is this just crappy media?
and also is there anything to do with the coasters since this error occured while writing the lead-in or are they gone for good?
Thanks,
Tzvika
edit:: the text is "focus or tracking error" and then it simply fails.

A coupla months ago my buddy's LG4040 started to screw up 4xDVD-R's while burning the lead-in.
Although they had visible inner rings on them my Pioneer DVR106 saw those coasters as blank medias and was able to burn them perfectly.
That LG could write at 2x for a while and was returned later when it stopped writingYou stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off. -
wow... id didn't even consider hardware problems since the burner is only a month old...
any other ideas... ? (praying that you're wrong...)
