DVD COPYING

Tonight i tried to copy a new film (I'm a newbie, but i did it several times with DVDShrink). I was very surprised that my LG DVD Recorder doesn't see the disk. The same disk was read by my stand-alone Pioneer-533 without any problem. I tried another film - LG worked OK! What should it mean?!

I would not worry about it at this point if it's only happenned with one DVD.

As a side note you should update your LG to it's latest firmware.

Same brand and format of disk? Recorded in the same way?
Could be the disk was duff, standalones tend to be more forgiving to errors than rom's.

I always thought it was the other way around? I've got a number of disks that will stutter at certain times on my standalone but never in my burner or DVD-Rom.
