Hello,
Recently I bought the Pioneer dv-366 player. Unfortunately, when playing svcd, the video image doesn't appears in full screen of the TV (something like 16:9 instead of 4:3) and the image is distorted accordingly. Playing dvd +- rw disks is O.K on full screen. I don't have this problem when playing the same svcd disks on my second dvd player (Marantz dv4100).
Any help will be appreciated.

Try playing a different SVCD. The problem is either with the original disc, or your DVD player.

Thank you,
I have the same problem also with other SVCD's. May be the problem is with the player, even according to the compatibility list in this site and to the player produce spec, this player suppose to support the SVCD.
Anyway, I prefer to make DVD.
