Datawrite Red ( V3 )

Hi Lads ...

Help !
I previously used Mirror Premium DVDR+R.
I saw an offer for Datawrite DVD-R RED ( V3 ) and thought I'd try it out.
Out of 50 discs, I have only been able to burn one!

I use Nero 6 and my DVDRW is Liteon ...... Nero just doesn't seem to recognise that there's a disc !

Is there something wrong with what I'm doing ?

I'm also having problems burning onto Mirror, which I previously didn't experience - I've done from 0 coasters to every third disc.

Hmmmmm ... Any advice lads?????

i had a sony drive that seemed to go berserk after using a tub of datawrite yellows and then wouldn't recognise Ritek discs anymore. after a fruitless search for a resolution i bought a cd lens cleaner from the pound shop in the vague hope that it would help.
pleased to say it did! don't ask me how it worked but cleaning it worked!!
give it a go and see if it helps - and you've only lost a pound if it doesn't!
