Are you transferring DV or capturing MPEG?

  4. Oh sorry, transferring DV but with USB. The cable has A on it. I am buying a firewire and hope that this will be better. Also my sound was not right, either on the DVD i ended up with the sounds of the room when transferring on top of the original sounds, or then it was the original with an echo?

The fire wire cable will give you much better results. I have the American version of your camera and I am very pleased with it for the price.

  7. Oh Help again please, now it's the audio. The dvd quality is fab but the audio is not synchronised, starts ok then the first part repeats itself over the next part. No chapters, just one 11 minute movie with lots of repeated audio is there light at the end of the tunnel,? or should I give up??

I'm still here. Try DVIO. It is really easy to use. Also, make sure all your programs not being used are closed. Ensure your hard disk is defragged, and do nothing on your computer when capturing except capturing.
