AIWA XD-DV370 Regioncodes

Hey there, ... how are you?

I have unlocked my AIWA XD-DV370 DVD player with a remote combination ..! It does work fine, but all DVDs with the region code are only in black/white ...

Did anyone experience this ... any ideas??

Hi

I have the same dvd player and used the remote control to unlock the code.

All region 1 disks were working in colour no problem until I moved it to a tv upstairs (older one) I think that the problem is that my older tv is not NTSC compatible.

The minute i put it into my newer tv the dvd's were back in colour.

Suggest you check the TV .

Yo fellows...

The problem is the the TV indeed. NTSC signal on PAL tv causes b/w playback. This can however be solved real easy. Because your player had a PAL region before, you never had this problem... but the dvd output signal is probably set to "AUTO" in the DVD-player's settings. If you set it to PAL, all outgoing signals will be converted to PAL
