  1. Hey,

    How can i fit a DVD label downloads exactly on the wright place when i print it?

    I have bought empty dvd labels, download the cover on ccovers but how can i print them exactly on the wright spot?

    Is there any software for this?

  2. Yeah there are several programs with templates and such you can use... cant think of any names off the top of my head at the moment though

    Dont use labels. Take a look at the thread that Andyp1 refernces in the post above. The desnity of the data on a DVD makes it highly vulnerablke to wobble of any kind. Since the quality control of DVD stick on labels is basically nill, you may get labels that have different thicknesses or densities. These will result in an imbalance on the disc as it spins, making it harder for the disc to track properly. Most of the time this results in skipping or unplayable discs. I heard that there were some Mfrs who were considering making DVD specific labels, but I personally, would rather just use a sharpie. If you want to get really precise about the whole thing, you could buy a printer that also prints cdrs/dvd's. Then all you need to do is buy bulk dvd's with printable tops. Last I checked an entry level printer that does cdr's was about 200. I bet you could get one for less though.
