  2. I received that exact same error. What worked for me was simply rebooting my computer and then trying to burn again. It burned perfectly for me after that.

Now see I had a question about that as well, When I have an mpg2 or mpg1, Architect still converts the file which takes it for fricken ever! Do you guys do something different to make it go a little faster?

DA1 works fine for me. It does reencode MPEG1 files, but does not reencode MPEG2 files except for the audio. MPEG2 files were made in both Vegas Video 4.0b, or Pinnacle Studio 8.

You might want to try downloading DA1b from the Sonic Foundry sight, and see if that helps.

i have never heard of that problem with DVDA - though i dont use it ...

it has not been reported either as a problem on the sony support group forums ...

if you have such an issue, and believe DVDA to be the cause - i suggest you contact sony and they will help you ...

  8. its depressing. sony dropped the ball with DVDA. I love Vegas...excellent NLE. DVDA just is missing a step. it takes tmpegenc dvd author 1/9th of the time that it takes DVDA. for some reason it always re-encodes the audio.

try DVDA 2 first off -- and it will not re-encode compliant ac3 audio .. though i think in dvda 1 you had to do something ...
