I did a search and didn't find anything appropriate, so I hope someone can help.
I Authored a DVD using DMF3DC. It has several chapters in one title.
When DMF completed the DVD creation, the audio on one of the chapters is chirpy. It is so bad you can't understand the dialog.
I tried several tests to isolate when the problem appears. If I create a test DVD with the affected chapter and another one, the chirping first occurs when I JOIN the scene with another scene into one title.
Does anyone have an Idea what's going wrong? I have created numerous other DVD using a similar process and none have done this.
I'm using a Sony RDR-GX7 to record a DVD-VR, then edit the commercials on the Sony, this creates the separate MPEG files that become my chapters. I import the DVD to DMF and trim the files, then join them into one title. Then I edit the menus and output the result.
Thanks a bunch,
John
