    Every time I add a chapter point on the timeline at the begining of a clip
    this reduces the time I have left on a DVD disk by about 10 min setting on a 100% quality this is without adding extra clips on the timeline and when I remove chapter points on the timeline I get the 10 min back is this Normal ?

    I think this is normal...it happens to me also when I add chapters or transitions. I looks like the more special stuff you put in the more time it will take up on the disc, so I try to adjust acordingly.
