    Hello,
Just wonder if it is possible to put more than 6 hrs of video into a DVD-R and can play in typical consumer DVD player?
If yes, then which software can do it and what is the bit rate or some thing like that need to know?
    Thanks for any reply.
    :P

You can put around 7 hours of 352x240 mpeg-1 video(VCD) using a bitrate of 1150kbps, but you'll have to use an audio sampling frequency of 48000hz to make it fully DVD compliant. TMPGEnc can create the mpegs for you but you'll need to use a seperate program to author them to DVD.

The easiest method would be to use EO Video. Sometimes the results aren't great so if you're not happy with them, post back. Make sure you remember to change the audio sampling rate to 48000hz. There are guides on the next page for this tool too.
