  1. Hello,

I captured with a HW MPEG2 Decoder the following:

    VIDEO: MPEG-2, 720x576 pixels, 25fps, 6000kb/s
    AUDIO: MPEG-1 Layer 2, 44100Hz, 192kb/s

How could I convert this file to make a VCD with
the following Parameter, which I guess are the Standard
    VCD Parameter.

    VIDEO: MPEG-1, 352x288 pixels, 25fps, 1150kb/s
    AUDIO: MPEG-1 Layer 2, 224kb/s

    Many thanks in advance

    Greetings Joachim

you can either follow this http://www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm

or get a mpeg2 reader codec so you can open mpeg2 directly in tmpgenc....I think it will work if you install latest powerdvd.

is in powerdvd 4.0 a SW MPEG2 decoder implemented, or does powerdvd stores a codec in my W2K ? any name of this codec, so i could look to my installed video codecs ?
