Hi I need help when copying my files onto a DVD+R.
I currently have a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R5112 drive. When I have previously ripped on to a Sony DVD-R it worked perfectly without hassle.
Now, however, I have purchased Memorex DVD+R but when I place the disc in the drive, it does not recognise it.
Does anyone know if this is a problem with the drive? Someone has suggested to me that DVD+R may not be compatible with the drive. Does anyone know of anyway to make it compatible?
I am using DVD-Decrypter and CloneDVD software.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! [/quote]

murraywalker18,
First of all, please do not put a subject line like this. Please read the forum rules. It means it's hard to find answers to questions when searching the forums, and many users will not even read a subject titled like this. Secondly, please avoid posting in bold. If I'm reading it, I'm reading it!
Thirdly, and most importantly, please do your own research! I searched for your writer in the "DVD Writers" tab to the left of your screen, and within 30 seconds I had an answer.
Here is your answer! Your drive does not support + media.
Searching for an answer yourself will often save you time, and it saves my time too.
I'm not having a go at you, so don't worry.
Regards,
