Applying a firmware patch

Hi guys
wonder if anyone can help me i have a pioneer 107d drive and updated the firmware from 110 to113 from the pioneer web site

that was stright foreward

but when i try to update to the patched 113 nothing happens

can someone explain step by step the way to do this, as i would like to burn at 8x if possiable. i wish to flash the drive in windows xp pro
i have downloaded the file +dvdr flash but still no joy

i already have some 8x media Ritek +R
but unable to test yet
any ideas would help
