  1. I have successfully captured, edited and authored several home movie VCD's using Adobe Premiere, TMPGEnc and ULead DVD Factory. All were fine until I started transfering home videos of football games. The Mpeg files are fine but when I view the VCD in any DVD player the more action there is the worse the video and sound quality. What is the cause of this? The VCD plays fine in my desktop but it seems the better the quality of the DVD player, the worse the playback is. Need some help cause I have 4 years of mine and 4 years of my brothers high school games to get off of deteriorating vhs and onto vcd...and when I get the burner...to dvd.

  2. Do you get jerkiness on your computer as well in the same parts as when it is played on your dvd player

  3. No, none what-so-ever on the computer, only on the standalone player. Some players are worse than others.

  4. I got this with a NAPA player, try reducing the bitrate to 1140, or as low as 1120
