    Hi stackner,

Yes, it can be done - and exactly as you want. I stumbled across it just recently.

    Check out this guide:

    https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=304#304

...it also has links to the downloads you need as well as explaining how to do it. I went for the AVISynth option instead of the Premiere Video Server - no real reason, other than the former is free.

Don't forget to rate the guide when you're done...

    Hope that helps...

    BJ_M is right on.

I use the PluginPack FrameServer with Premiere Pro to FrameServe to the Standalone MainConcept encoder. It's faster than the built-in version. The Standalone version also has more settings.

It works great! And it's free.

I'll give it a go. That's what I like about this site - always learning...

  7. It may be just me but DONT minimize the Primier window. Just shove it off to the side. Else you may have problems getting Primier open again.

    Hi pipeme,

As part of the "Export Movie" steps, you identified a file name and location with the PluginPac Frameserver set as the "format" to save in.

I don't know about Mainconcept MPEG Encoder, but I'm guessing it's the same as TMPGEnc:

Select that file (from above) as the source for your encoding. That simple... (at least in TMPGEnc).
