  1. On computer A, I ripped a DVD and used DVD2AVI to create a wav and a d2v file, so that tmpgenc can made a VCD complient MPEG. I copied the the vob, wav, and d2v files on to computer B, so that it can do the encoding, but tmpgenc doesn't seem to support the d2v file. I have the DVD2AVI.vfp file on the same directory as the tmpgenc.exe file, but it still says the file is unsupported. I went to the VFAPI plugins tab in environmental settings and increased the priority of DVD2AVI and there is no change.

Does copying the vob files and d2v files cause tmpgenc to have problems recognizing the d2v file?

Apparently. As you probably know the D2V is only a framserver file between the VOB's and the encoder. If you changed them into a different directory structure then that could be the problem.

Edit: To be clearer, what I mean is that if the pathname to the directory isn't exactly the same then that could be the problem. i.e. C:\directory\subdirectory\etc.
