Hi i was woundering how do you save you edited wav file in cool edit pro i load the wav file in cool edit to reduce the noise and when it finish i click on file and all of the save options are not high lighted were you can't click on it i don't understand this but if someone can point something out to me on how i can save my edit wav thanx in advance


    plz don't ignore this message i really need help i've seenalot of ppl ask great questions and it says replies 0 at least one replie would be nice thx

    Do a "save as" and then use the drop down box in "save as type" field..

  6. My guess...it sound like, anyway...no actual changes were made, therefore, the SAVE options were disabled.

    oh i tried a save as and its not high lighted ether this is very wierd

    It would also be intersting to know which version you really have. The title of your post says Cool Edit Pro 2000. There is no such program, it's either Cool Edit Pro or Cool Edit 2000

    I doubt that it matters as the "Save" function in most any program is a "generic" piece of code....
    He just doesn't get it.....

    True but if he somehow ended up in CEP's multitrack editing window , the save options are a little different.

  12. well therez a chance u have the demo version which may be full featured but also not allow u 2 save your work 2 bad if that is the case looks like u are sol anywayz if that is not the case then maybe u are in the mixer mode and u will need 2 do a mixdown first and then save u should really read the documentation itz not so hard

    Can you use Cool Edit to change the speed of .wav files ?

    I want to change the speed of a .wav file from 23.97fps tp 25.00fps

    Can Cool Edit do this ?
