Christchurch, New-Zealand - Here I Come!

Well people, on August 25th I will be departing Israel (hopefuly forever!) and will be arriving on August 27th in Christchurch, New-Zealand, a Dream come true! of course I will be looking for a Job Sponser there or i'll be forced to get out of there. So Wish Me Luck!!

PS: Because of this, all work on the guide will be stopped for atleast 4 months or more, depends on when and if I find a job!

I was in Christchurch a few months ago. It is a small, but very nice place. In fact , all of NZ is very picturesque. Do you have a particular reason to go to Christchurch?, as I'm sure that the north island has more going for it in the way of employment. I think that less than one million people live in the south island.

@tweedledee, the reason is living costs, the Auckland area is far more expensive, and since i'm not sure when i'd be getting any kind of employment, I will be renting a place to stay, in Christchurch I found around the costs of 115$(NZ) to 250$, while in Northisland area the minimum cost I could find was 350$(NZ) and that is a heck lot of money for someone who has been out of a job for near 9 months

Besides, I like the more quiet and peaceful places with not a lot of people, as i've got enough "city like" life here. it's the same reason why i'd prefer Perth in Australia over Sydney. I don't like overcrowded places, they tend to be a lot more expensive to live in. I just want a nice simple and peaceful relaxing life, i've had all the excitment I need for a life time over here
