  1. i have succesfully backed up most of my dvd's but now while watching them on my set top dvd player i notice that some skip frames, they dont skip a whole chunk of the movie they just skip like tiny parts. I use Dvd Decrypter to rip them to my HD then i Burn them with Intervideo Dvd Copy 2, im using a Sony burner and memorex Dvd-r. I have done about 6 of my dvd's with no problem and have about 3 that come out with this problem, anyone know a solution to this?

  2. I would try DVDshrink. Also I had nothing but problem with Memorex DVD-R media so try another brand like TDK.

I use Intervideo DVD with no problems. Why use DVD Decrypter? I run AnyDVD in the back round then open InterVideo. Click fit to 1 dvd and click burn. 20 to 30min later done. Just watched Seabiscut with all the extras. No problems or skips.

Oh and I only use Memorex DVD-R media for my lite-on burner. It seems to like them.

  5. well i guess the intervideo disc to disc option i cant use, i have no other choice but to rip it first, intervideo is telling me the movie is copy protected and will not copy it, anyone have any other info i should look into? maybe a different ripper? i made another copy to see if it was the disc and it still skipped some frames, also on intervideo i am not deleting anything neither i am backing up the full disc

Is sounds like a media problem, memorex sometimes uses CMC Magnetics to manufacture there discs real shitty quality, try something else and see what happens.
