I think something went wrong with the demux or the decoded (video, and audio) output file.

I demuxed a VOB to audio (ac3) and video (m2v). I then imported the video file using TDA. and then I added the audio.

I output the project, but now the audio restarts on each chapter. The start of the movie works fine, but when it gets to the second chapter, the audio says "hey time to restart at the begining."

I tried deleting the chapters, but the audio will still restart at the start of the file.

I tried importing the DVD directly in TDA using the "import DVD" option, then selecting the demuxed audio AC3 file as the audio for the clip. Same thing, audio restarts.

The audio file itself, plays just find as far as I can tell.

I don't know what the problem is, but Ifoedit was unable to fix the file/remuxed. It reported an error "unable to sync..." I am not sure if the problem is with the video or audio or both. is there a tool which will tell me what is wrong or resync this thing (remove PPT's)?

Or is there some other problem?

    Can you help?

    THANKS!

I just tried to -recode the video stream... strangly, it gets to about frame 2444 out 30,000 or so frames and just recodes multi frames of the same frame it gets stuck on. TMPGEnc, does not report an error, but the recoded video plays for about 1 min and then just plays the last frame for the duration of the video.

The strange thing before I demuxed the VOB, both audio and video worked. (I demuxed so, I could touch up the audio stream.)

So... how do I recode this video file so it encodes all frames and skips the broken ones? Tool?

    THANKS!
