Video is 34min long. I have been fighted over this probelm now about month. I use VirtualDubMod and i have been tried to export video with thousands of different options. This is my first time when i try to use 2Pass encoding. I have been read that it is nowdays recommend to use 2Pass. I have been always encoded with only 1Pass. I have been readed Doom9 tutorial and looked from thousands of forums, like afterdawn. Now i did get in here. This is way how i encode video.
1. Open VirtualDubMod (ooooh)
2. Then i open my video to it
3. Then i go to filters and load deinterlace filter. (Blend fields together)
4. Then to streams, and full prosessing to audio. Compressing with Lame, 32KHz 192Kbps
5. Then to video compression, XviD codec there (1.0 RC4), Encoding type Twopass - 1st pass.
6. Then Ok and Ok, then save as and don't run this job now.
7. Then back to the video compression, Xvid, Encoding type Twopass - 2st pass. Bitrate 1000 - 2000kbps.
8. Then Ok and Ok, then save as and don't run this job now.
9. Then jobcontrol and start.

Then i start video and.... it is *hit. There is big pixels and quality is bad. It's same to me that is this 34min video 300Mb or 700Mb. Quality means more.
What filters do u use, how do u do this operation? I have been tryed to use AVI and OGM. OGM has given better quality.
