Install DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc and Nero with Vision Express 2 (www.nero.com).

Open in DVD2AVI. F5 to preview. Find the right audio-track (Audio/track number). Decode to wav (Audio/Output method).
    Then File/Save project.

    Close when FINISH.

This give you a d2v-file you can open in TMPEnc as video source, and a wav-file you can use as audio source.

    Encode to mpg with TMPEnc.

You will now have an mpg-movie you can burn on a DVDR with Nero.

    Or...
    1. open a VOB with Ifoedit and tell it to Create IFOs ... and you are done
    2. Demux and remux to make a MPEG2 file
    3. Import the VOBs into an authoring program

Your VOBs are already MPEG2 . I can't imagine why Anglot wants to
    spend hours re-encoding them

  4. I just wanted to say thank you to both of you. I actually used DVDShrink 3.1 to create a backup from the files I had and it worked just fine. When I tried IFOEdit, it never gave me the option to create IFO's. But I got it working, and thanks for the responses,
