Apple makes quite a few computers with DVD-R/RW drives: eMacs, iMacs, PowerBooks, PowerMac G4s and PowerMac G5s.
All of the Desktop units are shipping with 4X DVD-R/RW drives from Pioneer (usually a DVR-106, which is the OEM version of the DVR-A06) or 4X DVD-/+R/RW from Sony (Sony DWU10A, which is the OEM version of their DRU-500A). I think the -RW on these drives is 2X.
Both the Sonys and the Pioneers are considered top-notch drives, although both now have faster 8X drives avalable.
Apple supports -R/RW and other tricks are available to use +R/RW if the underlying drive supports the format. -
G5's ship standard with -rw/+rw drives. They support both media formats natively [under 10.3.3]
G4's are not being produced any more, but they can also support any -rw/+rw you install [since they ship with the -rw drives]
The newest of powerbooks [Revision C] Can now burn to +r/rw disks, but any before this Revision C can only burn to -r/rw disks
