    Dear guys,
does any of you guys, knows why when with The TMPGEnc, in Wizard mode, and when we choose the VCD and NTSC option (MPEG-1), p.e., the estimated file size option is shown to us in gray, that doesn't let us to try fit a big movie, in a simple CD (VCD, p.e.)?

That bitrate allows you to get 80mins of video on 1 CD-R . Most VCD movies come on 2 Discs. It is possible to make a non-standard VCD called an XVCD .There you can lower the bitrate and fit more on 1 disc but the quality will go down with the bitrate.
Note - XVCDs will not play on all players.

  4. to be able to change the bitrate of your mpg in TMPGEnc

you'll hacve to load the unlock template first

select load and search in your TMPGEnc directory for a unlock.mcf file

after you load the file you can go to settings and change the bitrate...
if the filesize dosend seems to change you'll have to download the latest version of TMPGEnc

    good luck
