Hello,
Im thinking of getting a MAC, is the program Mac DVD2One good for a DVD back-up, because I am waiting for the dual-layer writers to come, so, will this program let me back-up a DVD-9 fully to hard drive and also is buring with TOAST, make reliable DVD's to be played on stand alones.
THANK YOU

of coarse
you ask this like its something foreign to this platform
One should point out however that dvd2onex does not back up the dvd to your hd.
Instead you need a ripper like Mac The Ripper, YadeX, OSeX and/or DVDBackup 1.3[listed by my personal preference]
once you back it up then it can be processed with dvd2one for burning, or if you are waiting for a dual layer drive, i suppose you could then burn it directly with that dual layer drive
yes, toast is the preferred burning app
I have yet to have a dvd i back up not work in mine and others dvd players.
I also have a website that can help you through the process if you are new to the apps and new to mac's
