  1. I was wondering if anyone has any infromation on the new 1080i dvd players? If so I would sure like to know. I looking for a mulit-player, pal and ntsc. I guess just a all around great player. Thanks Darren.

  3. I have a Bravo D1. I like it... the PQ is stunning using the DVI on my Samsung 46" DLP.

    There are a number of affordable upscaling DVI players now. The Bravo D2 just came out. There is the new Zenith 318 (it scales to HD formats through it's component outputs, if you don't have a DVI on your HDTV). Samsung's HD841 is in Best Buy already. There's a LiteOn (2001, I think). Momitsu 880 is another one - it can be hacked region-free pretty easily from a hidden menu using the remote control (it also scales to HD formats through the component outputs).

  5. The most popular upscaling DVD player with DVI, although it will upscale in its component output too is the Zenith DVB318. Just check out the thread at avsforum.com - dvd player section, they're raving about it esp. for the price. I think you can get it for $160 here.
