I have a panasonic EX3EN digital camcorder and want to use toast 6 plug n burn to convert my dv tapes to DVD,(I am not worried about editing) I have converted some tapes no probs but any dv tapes that are over an hour puts toast 6 into a coma after it has finished importing? (the color wheel spins for hours and wont respond, I have to eventually force quit) if I select the length to 30 mins no problems, but if I try to do the second half the same way it goes into the coma again, I have overcome this by importing the second half to imovie and then back to the camera and then back to toast 6, this is crazy and defeats the purpose of toast 6 plug n burn. there must be a better way. can anybody help, please???

Is this happening with Toast 6.0.5? Do you have ample spare hard drive space? Also, check Roxio's Toast 6 forum for possible help with this.

Sorry to repeat myself, but do you have the 6.0.5 update to Toast 6? The problem may have been fixed with the update.

No just toast 6, I get a little paranoid about updates cos sometimes they take stuff away or change things that I like I usually wait and read some mags and forums, going by the roxio forum they have heaps of problems

In this case the updates fixed a lot of problems that were in the original Toast 6. You don't have to delete the original one to do the update. The Toast update is simply a new version of the application and does not modify the original version so you can keep the original until you are ready to delete it.
