  1. I am considering purchasing an epson r200 printer to print directly to inkjet printable dvd-r. My question is will I be able to scan my original dvd and transfer that image to my inkjet printable dvd-r? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You do not Transfer it per se. What u do is scan ur dvd and then take that image and load it up with ur software of choice (epson print cd/dvd) and print that image onto ur dvd or cd

Yep, it's piss-easy, and you get everything you need with the R200.

Be careful with this device, people have been known to return the copy rather than the orginal, back to the rental store

    Glad you enjoyed it

I am now looking into buying one of these devices myself now, is it anygood ? I am looking for a decent colour printer that I can use with my digital camera that'll also do DVD covers etc.

  7. The R300 has given me excellent results on everything I've tried on it.

SVP.co.uk now have a restock of these, although I got mine from Comet directly (online).
To be honest I've only used mine so far on DVD's (as you know!) as I still have a HP970cxi which, unless someone convinces me otherwise, I'll continue to use for the photo prints I use.
I hear the Epson is not great for photo's on normal paper, but superb on photo paper but as the majority of my prints are on standard A4 I'll continue with the A4.
Plus, the fact the R200 has six cartridges scares me to death, I don't want to use it more than I have to!
Well worth the £89-ish, although a fault is clearly apparent with regards the tray; I'm not the first to report the DVD tray is not loading correctly, and I've only printed about two dozen DVD's since the 5th of April (the day it arrived).
