  1. While I try to backup a movie using the latest version of DVDShrink, I could not able to preview in the preview pane, of course after analyzing and choosing the title and clicking the play button.
Am I missing something or should I need to make some changes in the settings. I searched in the forum search to find if anyone had such problem in the past, did not come with result what I'm searching.
Thanks for your help in advance.

  4. not the play, but the preview button. It is right above or to the right if memory serves and you have to check it to show the video. The play button wouldnt do anything if the preview button isnt checked.

  5. First you have to go in the "Edit" menu and then click on "Preferences"

Then, you click the "Preview" tab and you have to check "Enable Audio and Video Preview"

  6. Thanks for replys!

If you are referring to preview button on the compressing window as well as analyzing window (if I understood you correctly), yes it works well.
I'm taking about the main window. Did i confuse you? I meant to say that it is in the main window.

I made sure that in the "Preview" tab "Enable Audio and Video Preview" is cheked.

I just tried to play/preview the movie in the main window with version 2.3 (worked flawlessly), and 3.1 did not play at all after choosing the main movie, clicking play button and even after sliding the bar.[/quote]

  7. ah!. So, it after you put the dvd in and do the upfront quick analysis. OK, now I understand where the issue is. That is VERY odd. I have the latest version of shrink and that part works just fine for me. Does it work ok, when you do a reauthor and then chop the video credits off. I really cant be too much help because I have NEVER had this issue happen in every version of shrink that I have used.
