BD-SUP settings preview?

Hi all

I am having trouble getting sup files right in authoring blu-ray.

I use EasySup in which I load srt files to output as bd-sup files. Some movies are wider than 16:9 and I want to make the bottom offset larger so that the subs are displayed at the bottom of the movie itself, and not at the bottom of the black bars.

I tried SubtitleWorkshop 4 in which I can load video but the subs aren't displayed properly . I also tried to to this in multiAVCHD but the subtitle settings and it's preview function don't match the outcome. Or am I doing something wrong here?

Is it possible to load a screenshot from the video into EasySup so I will have a preview of my settings? It seems that that program really shows what the outcome will be, but only at a solid blue 16:9 background, without the proper black bars. Now I have to gamble each time and see after muxing what the result is.

Ah, foolish me. I figured it out I. You have to give the video and srt file the same name.

Edit: now I think of it, I think why the preview in multiAVCHD wasn't right. The preview and settings are applied when you load srt files, not sup files.
