hallo.
I'm using scenalyzer ( and canopus dv codec ) to capture movies from my camcorder. It automatically splits movie into clips. I like this option very much
Then for conversion to MPEG-2 files I'm using TMPGencPlus.
Now my problem:
I usually merge selected clips into bigger one. I use TMPGencPlus' merge & cut tool for that
There is the message being displayed during that process, for example:
Producing video stream...... 37.02 sec
Producing audio stream...... 37.05 sec
....
As You can see the length of video and audio stream differ.
In my example the total lengh of merged clip is 37 secs, not big, so difference is 0.03 sec, also not too big, but when I'm merging 30 or more clips, the difference is 1 sec or more.
One more hint:
I added only one clip for merging in merge & cut tool. Of course in that situation nothing is merged of course, but in that case video/audio lengths also differed.
Maybe the sound/video length difference is introduced somewhere earlier, during capturing or MPEG-2 file creation process ??
Have You got any ideas ??
