    Hi,

    I just installed a second DVD drive in my G4 (a Pioneer 107, the old one being a 104).

    Can I choose to set one of them as R1 and the second one as R2, maybe using Region X to switch the system region when I put an R1 DVD after an R2 ? This seems to me a good option to rip US and European DVDs, as I am reluctant to flash the firmware of my 107.

    first time a drive is ever used it will ask you to set its region.
    You just need a disk in the region you want to set it to.
    you get 5 region changes. 5th region change is the final one for that drive.

    I thought there was something like a "system region" as well as the drive region ?
