For some reason I cannot use my credit card when I went out to Microcenter to buy some thing, I call the credit card company and they told me that my card has been charged 2 times from SupermediaStore.com, the first one is the amount that I supposed to pay (fine with this one), the second one is over $1000.00 that they attemped to charged my credit card. So, my credit card company (Fleet) temporeary disable my credit card. I asked my credit card company closed this account and dont pay that amount.
I then called SupermediaStore.com and they told me that they did not do it, and ask for proof. The credit card company will sent me some paperwork to sign and they will send the proof to SupermediaStore.com in couple days
This is just a warining to vcdhelp members... I can't believed that they do this to me, I have been buying over 1000 discs from them. this is totally b.s.

I have my 3rd order processing at Supermediastore right now. Haven't had any problems yet.
It might be just an authorization for $100.00 and they mistakenly put in $1000 and that tied up your credit card.
What is your credit card limit?
This happens more often than not, but most people have a big enough credit limit not to notice these large authorizations. -
No real problems here, though their automated web credit processing has some bugs they are trying to fix one by one. My order was charged shipping on a free-shipping item, but it was supposedly fixed with a quick phone call. And I mean really quick too, not a minute on hold.
I'm still waiting for the credit to hit the card.
They're starting to sell decent stuff too ... finally ... so it'll go in my book as a great store to buy from.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

Hi A4,
This is Roger from SuperMediaStore.com. First I appologize for the mistake we made. Second, could you please let me know your order number and I am going to find out what was going wrong. I am sure we can find a way to solve this problem. My email address is rogerz@linkyo.com. Thanks. -
Just completed my first transaction with Supermedia, and I am seriously impressed. Won't be the last!
-
Same here. Several orders all handled flawlessly. I would give them a chance to look into the problem (my guess is that someone jacked your card numbers). They seem willing to make it right with you.
-
Agreed, I'm a repeat customer and have always been pleased with the service and pricing.
-
Bythe way roger Should give should lower little prices on samplers and other lots
-
I just bought my first lot from them also. I went for the free shipping on the DVD-R 4X Ritek but every time I got to the checkout the shipping was charged. Ended up redoing the whole transaction with a different browser (in case of cookies etc.) and it worked okay. Of course since this was only a day or so ago, I won't know how the actual order is processed and goods shipped
-
I'm impressed by Rogers response. Sounds like a good company to deal with. A pity they do not ship internationally.
-
I've bought from them as well, and had no problems... In fact, I'm getting ready to order some more as my supply is dwindling down ....
-
I've also had great experiences with supermediastore.com. I just wish they could sell 4x DVD-R inkjet printable BeAlls. I have to buy them through Meritline, which I've had great success with, too, though some people seem to have had bad experiences with them. I think once my supply of BeAlls run low, I'll place an order with supermediastore to get the silver printable ProDiscs.

My 3rd order on 4/2 was charged on 4/2 and no status update yet... even though I've e-mailed twice to see if it was backordered and no response yet. It was for ink...

Roger has NOT responded to me yet, wrote him days ago, and the shipping charge still appears on my bill. I'm NOT happy about this.
I like the price, but come Tuesday, I'm taking this up with my credit card company.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

I understand that but what is the difference in print quality? Is one better than the other?

They fixed my billing error.

Hi Axolotls,
You said you didn't receive your order. Could you please email me your order number so I can check for you. -
My followup:
Got my order today of the 50pak of ProDisc silver top inkjet printables
took 5 days total, all disks are in good shape.
Burned 3 discs 4.33, 4.29, 4.31 and all passed DVDinfopro's media test -
stiltman have you printed on the silver top prodisc yet. i've purchased the white top ones. and they look nice. i'm thinking about buy a cake box of the silver ones if they look good too
-
Yep, soon as I got them
To tell you the truth, I really don't care for the translucent/iridecent/pearl look they have after printing. I tried scanning one to post, but it looked pretty bad and really didn't do it justice. The pictures I printed on them came from cdcovers.cc, so that could be the problem. I will do my own next time. I also printed them at the best possible settings.
I have some Memorex CDs that are printable, and I think they look much better.
