  1. From the results

    1) In terms of stability of less prone to errors,
am i right to say that Verbatim 4x DVD R - followed by DVD r+ is the best media to use for both data and video ( as compared to RAM or DVD RW ) .Say Taiyo yuden is not available .

    a) .ram would be ranked 2nd , and RW last choice ?

    2) I never wrote any DVDs in my life ..should I now write in + or - .format ...

3)If I can afford DVD RAM , are there any known error issues in DVD RAM at 3x compared to DVD R 8X + or –

    a) for DVD RAM , it would be panasonic

    b) and DVD RW+. R - , it would be also verbatim ??

  2. Maybe I'm wrong, but I always thought DVD-RAM was the safest DVD media to store data on...

Depending on how you look at it, any NON rewritable media would be 'safer' than something that could potentially be accidentally overwritten.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

In that respect it is, but I'm sure indolikaa was referring to the superb error correction that DVD-RAM has and no other format has. DVD-RAM handles data virtually the same as a hard disk. It's the main reason DVD-RAM is rated for 100,000 rewrites.

  6. I read somewhere? that RAM is the biggest selling format.. but I find this totally unbelievable.. maybe with some sleight of figures, somehow. I think RAM is the best.. but for business use. For an ordinary home user its far too expensive, and still too slow. I am talking about burning and keeping, rather than constant re-use (re-write).
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

Maybe it's the biggest-selling format in Buttwater, Texas and maybe they jsut used that market for comparison. DVD-RAM is probably the lowest seller.
