Sorry for the ultranoob question, but how can I determine the correct field order for an interlaced video file?
And I would like to know what is the best tmpeg´s method for deinterlacing.

Why deinterlace? Don't do it if you plan to watch on tv.
Use a filter in TMPGENC. Read a guide, try some at my site, it covers this.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
