Backup DVD and add subtitles

Hey, I'm trying to backup a DVD, the DVD is already backed-up once, so it's a backup of a backup. I'm following this guide : https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/197950.php . But the problem is I can't open the dvd in DVDShrink, it says DVDShrink encountered an error and cannot continue

But it can be played normally. And in one of the steps in the guide I need to make all the vobs to one vob file, so i can remux the movie and add the subs, can I do this in another program instead? ( I tried with DVD decrypter, and it worked, but it does not make it to 1 vob file)
