I encode my videos with a VBR of 8000 high, 4000 low. After trimming out commercials with M2-edit Pro, the resulting file size is usually the same size or so as the original. Last night I downloaded and used VideoReDo (much much much better! actual precise cutting, super easy, I love it!) and the exact same resulting file was half the size of the one from M2-edit Pro. What is being done differently?
