OK I know it has to have been asked before but i cant find it anywhere. I am using 10.3.3, i've backed up maybe a dozen DVD all under 4.78GB ... not how do I fit more than that onto a DVD-R? Most of my DVD range from 6-12GB
    Software i use usally is:
    DVD BACKUP 1.3
    DVD IMAGER 1.2
    & TOAST 6 TITANIUM
ITS PROBIBLE NOT POSSIBLE BUT WHAT THE HELL I HAVE TO ASK!

  2. It seems that you are a bit "out of the loop". DVDBackup is no longer being developed, and no longer supported. The new application of choice for ripping is MacTheRipper (for several reasons). Some people like Yadex as well. To compress the ripped VIDEO_TS folder to less than 4.4 gigs, you'll need a handly little app called DVD2oneX

sounds like you have just been backing up dvd5's

if you are finding dvd's that backup to 5+ gigs you will have to add dvd2one to your library of apps.

its the best way to get a dvd9 (ie one over 4.4 gigs) down to the 4.4 gig range which you can then burn.
