Hi, I'm assuming becasue my camcorder is a cheapo Samsung (SCL630) analoge the res is limited to 320x240. But DVD needs to be 720x480. My capture card is the Leadtek Winfast 2000XP Deluxe and I can capture at 720x480 but it doeas't look the greatest, I guess becasue it's interpolating to upscale the incoming video.

So my question is there any way to make the incoming capture close to DVD quality? Or am I limited to only creating VCD becasue of my camcorder? But I've also read on a site that analoge camcorders are not really dependent on resolution.

    Thanks.

VHS is closer to 352x480 which is a valid DVD resolution. Why not try that?

Thanks for your reply, last night I finally tried DVD Workshop 2's capture feature and I selected DVD quality, and it seemed to work fine.

After about a month of reading and testing, I finally found an easy way of doing it.

I should have tried that earlier... I'll also try the res you suggested.

    Thanks again.
