  1. Hi,

I just sold my Panasonic DMR-E80H, but I forgot to close 3 discs I recorded with this unit. I'm wondering is there any way I can close the disc without using Panasonic DMR-E80H, so I can play it on the regular DVD player?

    Thank you,

  2. I am also trying to find out more about using Panny DVDs on PCs, but here is an interim solution. You can rip the disc to your PC using isobuster (more info on that is available in this website). That results in a bunch of .tao files. You are supposed to be able to burn those files to a DVD using some DVD authoring software

The only snag I hit is that the files do not play all the way (I burned using TMPEG DVD Author). A workaround I have discovered is to resave the file to mpeg using Womble MPEGVCR, and that works. But it's a hassle, so I am searching this site to see if there is an easier way.

Meanwhile at least u know that your three DVDRs are salvageable.

    Cheers

P/S Pse let me know if u learn more
