  1. Hi everybody!
I have WinDVD, MyDVD, and DVD X Maker.
I want to know how to put 5 hrs on one DVD... i cant find the options to change the bitrates in any of these programs.

I want to put movie files that are 25 FPS.

  2. You can convert your videos into VCD format using TMPGEnc and then burning them with TMPGEnc DVD Author, you will not get excellent quality, but at least you'll be able to fit your 5 hrs of video.

You will have to get familiar with a bitrate calculator to start with. Try this one here. My research tells me that you will need a video bitrate of 1800 kbps with audio at 192 kbps. Write these settings down. You have to make a decision regarding picture quality now. If you are only going to be watching this on a TV, I would use Half D1 resolution (352 X 480 for NTSC or 352 X 576 for PAL). Full D1 resolution will look pretty ordinary IMO at this bitrate. You can then use TMPGEnc to do the rest for you.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  6. Okay, How do i change the bitrate settings in MyDVD? I cant find the option anywhere.

Also, how can i put Pal movie in a NSTC DVD? I want to put an episode of South Park i got from a friend on a DVD, but when i use Tmpgenc DVD Author, i get a fatal error that my movie clip cant be entered. And alos, how do i change the bitrate settings in Tmpgenc DVD Author? I cant find the options anywhere to change the bitrate.

    Thanks.
