Hi. Does it matter how cheap the media types are that you purchase. I recently purchased some unbranded DVD+R and they seem bad. Burns ok, however, when playing back in DVD player, the pixels seem to break up and the DVD player spits out the DVD. I used DVD shrink to backup the DVD.
Is it the media or the software or both???
Thanks![]()

Actually, the cheapness of the media doesn't matter at all. To save money I use pancakes in my burner and haven't had any issues yet.
But seriously, yes I'm sure it's the Media, my favorites are the Memorex DVD+R 4x, but I wouldn't cheap out on Media.
