Can somebody tell me if the unit will adjust for DST automatically? I'm leaving for a week and want to set my programs, but am unsure what will happen after this weekend. I have the time clock set automatically through my local PBS station, but I don't think that the unit "checks" and updates the time since I have to manually tune to the PBS station through the cable box (which I only did when I set the unit up a few months ago). I'm wondering if I should just assume that it won't change, and set all programs post-sunday to one hour ahead (California). Or another option that I thought of, would be to have the unit record 30 mintues of a random PBS show on Sunday to allow the unit to "check" with that station and update the clock. I would appreciate some input before these creative ideas of mine screw up all my pograms

I would say that if your unit has auto clock set, then yes, it will adjust for daylight savings time. If you had to set the time yourself, I would not depend on it.

The VCR unit I used to own had auto clock set and would adjust for daylight savings time automatically.

You will have to set the "Daylight Savings" setting to ON in the manual clock menu. (see page 47 of the manual)

Otherwise you're going to miss some shows during your trip ......
